pencilMaking a vocabulary crossword puzzle about a book you are reading? Here is my helpful "how to" hint.

Fold a sheet of paper in half lengthwise.

As you read the book, write any vocabulary or special words on this sheet of paper.
(I like to write the page number as well, so I can find it again later.)

Use this paper as your bookmark.

At the end of reading the book, you have a vocabulary list. This is MUCH easier than searching through the book after reading it.
